The hands on the clock whisper at the stroke of midnight.
Another day has ended, and a new day has begun.
All around there is silence.
It is now time for the night dwellers to arise and begin the mischief they bring with them.
Small, large, ever the size they wish to be.
You may or may not have heard word of these creatures, but believe you me, they are real.
Real like the twinkling of stars above, or the darkness which is left behind when the sun goes to slumber.
They come out of their hiding place, their eyes as cold as ice and soulless like the hollowed out bodies of the dead.
